Full Sun: Petrified juniper prefers bright light, especially diffused light. Indoors, you can place it on a bright windowsill or balcony, and move it outdoors regularly to receive natural light to keep its branches and leaves bright green and lush. In spring and autumn, more light is needed because this is the peak growing season. In summer, sunshade measures should be taken to prevent plants from being sunburned by strong light. In winter, the lighting time can be appropriately reduced, but a certain amount of lighting still needs to be maintained.

Proper watering: Petrified junipers like moisture, but are intolerant of waterlogging. Keep the soil moist when watering and avoid being too dry or too wet. Watering frequency needs to be increased during the growing period, but the leaves should be kept away from direct contact with water to avoid root rot. For daily maintenance, it is recommended to water once in the morning and once in the afternoon or evening. As temperatures drop in winter, plant growth slows down, so watering frequency should be reduced to about once every 10-15 days.

The suitable growth temperature for petrified cypress is between 15-28℃. When the weather is cold, the owner can use a heater to keep it warm; when the temperature is high in summer, it needs to be moved to a ventilated and cool place for cooling. In addition, attention should be paid to avoid high-temperature burns in summer and low-temperature frostbite in winter.
